We gather on this day to remember the suffering and dying of Jesus before marking the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday. It’s a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by Christ to atone for humanity’s sins.

About the Event
IOn Good Friday the church remembers the crucifixion of her Lord. Traditionally this day has been celebrated with a Tenebrae service. Tenebrae means “darkness.” Our service tonight, while solemn, is not a message of gloom, but a service of adoration of the Son of God as he offers up his life as the Lamb of God.
